I finally quit making excuses for why I shouldn't spend a bunch of cash on a new camera. My Kodak that I won in a raffle 10 years ago did a great job all these years, but was too slow. I missed a lot of good wildlife shots because it took too long to respond. Then my sister gave me a great Nikon that was like greased lightning. It took 20 pictures in the blink of an eye. CLICK_CLICK_CLICK_CLICK...but it sometimes came up with "err" instead of a picture. That made my blood boil. Not because the camera was messing up, but because I couldn't figure out why. I like to think I can fix anything. Time after time this camera proved me wrong. That's just not healthy for me. PLUS, it didn't even have a video mode. Are you kidding me? So I did some research and fell in love with the Canon Rebel T3. As it turns out, Wal-Mart had it on sale. It was $100 less than Sam's Club! So for the next 10 years I'll be trying to figure out all the features of this new camera. I hope I get some good wildlife shots now.
